Marketown Shopping Centre is a supermarket based neighbourhood shopping centre located at the gateway to the Newcastle City Centre servicing not only the city centre but also the densely populated and growing inner suburbs of Newcastle. Marketown Shopping Centre has one level of retail shops, anchored by Coles (open 24 hours a day 7 days a week), Officeworks, Go Lo and 30 Specialty Shops to cater for all your shopping needs.

The Centre is situated on the southern side of King Street bordered by Steel Street to the east, Parry Street to the north and National Park Street to the west.

Marketown Shopping Centre has so much more; with a large range of stores. We cater to all your needs including shoe repairs, hair and beauty, newsagent, jeweller, optical, fruit market, financial services and Post Office.

Our food court has seating for over 80 people surrounded by a variety of takeaway shops where you can always find something tempting any time of the day.
